The purpose of Fall River Community Media (FRCMedia) is to produce and curate a wide variety of programs, distributed on local cable television, that reflect the experiences and interests of the people and organizations of Fall River.
FRCMedia is located on the campus of Bristol Community College, 777 Elsbree Street, Fall River, MA 02720. The day-to-day operation and scheduling of the cable television channel, facility, and equipment are managed by FRCMedia staff and Bristol Community College in accordance with these rules and procedures.
FRCMedia provides access to the cable television channel, facility, and equipment to individuals and organizations in Fall River who are defined as community producers (Community Producer).
FRCMedia strives to provide outreach to segments of our diverse community, ascertaining areas of programming needs and assessing community response to media programming.
FRCMedia is made possible through a partnership between the City of Fall River and Bristol Community College in conjunction with the current cable television renewal license between the City of Fall River and Comcast.
